Today's Turd stupidities

The day ain't over, but so far:

The Turd is demanding that banks only allow US citizens to open or hold accounts.

A new Canada-Michigan bridge, costing $4 billion and jointly paid for by Canada and the state of Michigan, is set to open. Trump threatened to block the bridge until Canada "pays us back for everything we've given them." Carney called the Orange Fuckface and explained to him that the bridge would facilitate imports, which would give the Turd more tariff money to steal. The issue isn't yet resolved, and the $4 billion bridge is sitting there, empty.

A guest of Rep. Omar was at the Turd Triumph address. She didn't stand up when everyone else did. She was immediately assaulted and beaten up by Trump's thugs. She had to visit the hospital to have her injuries treated. Trump  tried today to have her arrested--for not obeying the order to stand up.

(The moment may have been when she didn't sit down quickly enough. It's unclear exactly when she was assaulted, as the MAGA news didn't want it to be on camera.)

This is just one day of Turd shit. And since I started this post, he's probably done several more awful things 

The owner of the Ambassador Bridge connecting Detroit and Windsor donated $1 million to MAGA Inc., a political action committee supporting President Trump, less than a month before the president threatened to block the opening of the Gordie Howe International Bridge, according to documents from the Federal Election Commission.

Somebody on his staff visited with the guy/family that owns the existing bridge right before Trump blocked the bridge opening.

Wow. So the owner of the existing bridge nakedly bribed Trump in order to preserve his profits. If and when the Howe bridge opens, traffic across and through the existing bridge and tunnel will plummet, since the new bridge will directly connect I-75 with a Canadian freeway. No one will want to use the Ambassador, with its horrific delays, unless they're going to downtown Windsor.

What a corrupt motherfucker the 💩 is!

The existing bridge owner (how is that possible for public infrastructure?) owned the fastest cross border route and has been fighting the new bridge for a decade.  He's going to lose his revenue source as there are fees he's been sucking up for use of his bridge and the new one will bypass his grift.  I can't say Trump is on the right side of this at all, but then again, I have never supported everything he does.

Looks fishy to me.

You should never support anything he does. In the rare instance where it looks like he may be doing something useful or beneficial, he's really doing harm to someone for his own benefit. In this case, he's fucking with Canada and Michigan, two places that already hate him, so he has nothing to lose.

Isn't it appalling that he's never going to suffer the slightest consequences for his theft and grift? There must be people who are mad as hell about Trump screwing with that bridge. But they can't do anything about it. Trump is immune to "retribution."

At least he'll die soon. But maybe we shouldn't wait for nature to take its course.

That's a pretty sick statement that should be investigated by the FBI or whoever checks up on wack-jobs.

So what you're saying is you would like JD Vance in charge?  Wouldn't that put Peter Thiel in charge of the country?

I won't apologize for wishing Trump was dead. He's killing people with his stupidity, and I don't mean that metaphorically. In 1944, a lot of people wished Hitler was dead, and if Stauffenberg had been successful, about ten million fewer people would have died.

I wouldn't like Vance in charge, but he would be better than the Turd; unlike the Turd, he has a functioning brain. So he wouldn't do the fundamentally stupid and utterly counterproductive shit his master does--like tariffs.

But there's an even better reason. If Vance ascended to the throne, the Republipigs would have no choice but to nominate him in 2028. And that would lead to a Democratic landslide, even if their candidate was (ugh) Kamala Harris.
