What is a legitimate news source Kevin? CNN, MSNBC? They are reporting the same stuff. What is your credible news source?
Has Kevin provided one informed comment about the Afghan situation? If he has, I've not seen it. All I've viewed from Kevin are insults aimed at people who are discussing a dire situation.
All I see are people trying to score political points with a dire situation...even when it contradicts a positon they had a year earlier.
The UNited States armed forces have not been responsible for Afghanistan security for several years now. Under the last president (which I am NOT faulting him for) we changed our roles to be advisory and reduced troops and civilian staff accordingly. Thats whe we've had less than 10k troops there throughout this mess.
The Afghanistan situation is a tragedy. No doubt. No argument here. Nobody thought the Afghan gov't would hand the keys to the country to the Taliban so readily. Constipated right wingers who fully supported the US troop levels to their current levels are now pretending they didnt ...and they havent offered an alternative solution. They just see it as an opportunity to cry about the election results even though the man they voted for set the AMerican presence to the level its at in Afghanistan.
Its alot like when they cried about Obamacare and then voted for Mitt Romney who was Obamacare original author.
DO our board's Biden critics fault the low level of troops in the country or is that a good thing? Or do you have a different opionion based upon who is in charge? Yeah, its that one.

The ones you mentioned, plus dozens of others, with the exceptions of the RepubliQ propaganda outlets such as Fox News.
Of course, your metric for determining legitimacy is different from mine. You consider any news source that provides information that you don't want to hear or disagree with illegitimate. It's all liberal Deep State FAKE NOOZE blah blah.
Is all reporting completely objective? Of course not. But the sources you mentioned are far more objective than the propaganda sources.
Here's my current metric. During the Dark Years (Trump's reign) Fox News almost never criticized the Orange Asshole for anything, no matter how many horrible things he did. In stark contrast, CNN, etc. are airing content that is sharply critical of Biden even though doing so is hurting him politically.
In other words, the so-called "liberal media" is NOT in thrall to Biden, in contrast to many conservative sources licking Dear Leader's boots, continuing to today. That's an objective measure of legitimacy.
