Uhhhh.... stupid..  even if your absurd fantasy was somehow even remotely true...how could someone giving out packs of cigarettes actually affect anyone's vote? It's not like they would be able to follow people into the voting booth and force them to vote Republican (or whatever).

And no, no one would go to a polling place just to get a free pack of smokes. And I have to ask...did you ascertain the political leanings of those giving away cigarettes? Because you said that this is something only "libs" do

I don't expect you to believe me but it was happening.  Let me ask you this......what party do you think homeless people vote for?  You think it just MIGHT happen to be the party of the free handouts?  

You said it yourself, high voter turnout favors the dems.  I agree with you on that.  And we know most upstanding citizens already vote.  So who do you think the higher turnout is bringing out?

So lemme see...in this fantasy, someone shows up at a polling place...and some guy comes up to him and offers him a cigarette...for voting...which that guy was obviously planning to do, otherwise what was he doing there in the first place...and the guy offering the cigarette has no way of knowing how the voter is going to vote...so the cigarette guy has no effect on the outcome either way.

PLUS...if you walk up to any random human and offer him a cigarette...the most likely response will be "thanks, but I don't smoke."

I mean, if you and Hilby were gonna make up a plausible story...have the vote influencer hand out Reese's peanut butter cups or something. Everybody likes those.
