Top Off Your Gas Tanks

If Trump controls himself and doesn't escalate things, and if Iran confines its retaliation to this one attack...then we might be OK.

But what do you think is the likelihood of Trump handling this sanely, rationally, or diplomatically? Don't forget, this is all designed to be a distraction from impeachment. So far, it's working.

Trump's taking a page from the standard Dictator Playbook. You're in trouble domestically, start a war. And then depict any opposition to that war as unpatriotic.*

*Have you noticed how our worst Trumper scum have been loyal Trump lackeys in doing exactly that?

Here's a site which shows US rack gasoline prices over the past dozen or so years.  Put your curser on a date, and you'll see that day's prices.  This info can be filtered on this site by city and by time period.  The rack pricing is "about" what the local retailer pays upon delivery.  The rack price will differ slightly depending on the gas station's distance from the gasoline terminal "racks", and the buyers negotiating power.  Where I live, it costs about 8 cents per gallon to transport gasoline from the rack to the station in trucks.  PJ knows where that terminal is.  Some gasoline stations in Indiana likely pay about twice this outbound transportation cost due to their longer distance from the terminal.  As you will see, we've never approached $10 gasoline prices.

It's interesting to view "boutique gasoline blends" for places such as California.  These blends are not only more costly, but since they are unique, when a California refinery (or two) is shut for their annual month long "turnaround", California experiences a shortage.  I enjoy listening to the Liberals whine when this happens.
