Trump Admits Collusion

Oh, I see.  If you attempt to rob a bank but you fail, it is a case of no harm no foul. Right?

As usual, nothing to see here. Meetings to get information on an opponent is done all of the time. Whether he knew then or later is not a crime. And certainly not collusion.

You and the Angry Creamsicle are wrong about that.  Nobody meets with agents of a foreign government to get dirt on an opponent.  It is illegal.  Secondly, nobody meets with someone to get dirt on an opponent when they know the dirt was obtained through illegal means. Trump has just outed everyone that was in the meeting or had knowledge of it beforehand as criminal co-conspirators.

Opposition research is conducted by pretty much everyone running for office. Nothing illegal about that. The "dirt" was obtained illegally? 1st, BS. 2nd, nothing from the meeting was used by anyone for any reason. 3rd, Trump didn't know about the meeting. Your TDS gets more insane every day.

You want to see real Russian collusion? The DNC and Clinton campaign paid someone to produce a "dossier" that  supposedly contained information obtained directly from the Kremlin. Russian collusion much? Then the FBI used that fake document to issue FISA warrants to spy on Americans involved with Trump or his campaign, which was also why Comey leaked that fake information to have a special investigator appointed. Russian collusion much? Democrats are neck-deep in the shit they've been doing for at least 2 years.

We've officially gone from "no collusion"  to "Yes collusion - but thats ok"

And thats why they spent two years fabricating a lie about the "no big deal meeting with Russian operatives." 

Trump's ship is sinking and he knows it.  He's going to lose the legal fight.  His play is to rally his base to undermine any scum revealed by the independant counsel that is investigating him.   Good luck with that.

Bob-o is wrong about almost everything he said. There is nothing wrong with opposition research when done by people employed to do so and when it is conducted through legal means.  Ask Marco Rubio as he is the one that started the funding of the "dossier." 

However, opposition research is not legal when it is conducted by a foreign government trying to interfere in our elections and when it was obtained through a criminal act. Hacking is a crime.  They put people in prison for a long time when they get caught doing it.

I am also not so sure Trump didn't know about the meeting beforehand.  Cohen says he did and that Rick Gates was there when he was told as were several other people.  Rick Gates has cut a deal with the government, so we will find out soon enough.  Regardless if he knew about it beforehand, when Trump dictated the false statement that the meeting was about adoption, he dealt himself in on the conspiracy. 

Its official from both Trump and his confederate base.     They believe it is perfectly acceptable to coordinate their presidential campaign with the hostile foreign power of Russia. 

This is their disposition even in the midst of it being revealed that several of the campaign's advisors/administrators were not only colluding with Russia but actual paid agents from that government.

And you now know why Trump had to meet with Putin in secret and keep his negative tweets in the realm of Lebron James and Alec Baldwin instead of the leader who is actively sabotaging our democracy.
