Talk about unrestrained lawlessness and just so you can be cruel to kids and the elderly on food stamps. Anybody that voted for this chump, ought to be ashamed.

mmmm hmmm, and who is keeping the government closed? Republicans? Guess again.
I imagine after the election is completed the liberals will get their orders from their handlers to open it up.

The public agrees with me it is Trump and the Republicans keeping the government closed. Of course, the Republicans in the House have been on a seven week paid vacation so you can't work out anything if the other party doesn't show up for work.

Aren't we at 13 or 14 votes now? Weird that can happen on vacation.

The Senate is voting, if they pass something, it goes to the House. The house isn't in session.
That's how Congess works, except when Trump is President. They don't have much to do, with all the Excutive Orders he like to rule with.
The house already passed the CR The only reason they would need to vote again is if the senate made changes or add more spending to the clean CR

😂 Yeah, they passed it as a take it or leave it offer and then fled town. The Democrats rightfully left it. Politics requires compromise. You can't compromise if the other party isn't in town.
There is a seperate fund that pays for SNAP even when the government is shut down.
Trump is voluntarily challenging that rule. Got that?
He had a choice. He could pay SNAP in accordance with the law.....or he can try to not pay SNAP by challenging the law. He voluntarily chose the latter. So now you know where his motivation is. He doesnt care about his own voters who use this program. He didnt need to challenge the law - he wanted to.
You can finger point about who is at fault for the shutdown. You cant finger point with SNAP. That is 100% on Trumpy-poo.
