Trump Death Cult

Why are conservatives trying to kill us?

Rep. Trey Hollingsworth, R-Ind., argued on Tuesday that it was the lesser of “two evils” to allow more Americans to die from the coronavirus pandemic than to continue to shut down large swaths of the U.S. economy.

Hollingsworth, a millionaire who ranks as one of the wealthiest members of Congress, told WIBC radio in Indianapolis that lawmakers must always choose to preserve the American way of life over saving actual lives.

How many conservatives here at LVA are joining Trump's death cult?

Hollingsworth is wrong. Recovery will be slow and people will be extremely foolish if they attempt to hurry things up. I personally see a year or more will pass before any sense of normalcy will return. Baring a medical break thru, this virus and it's effects, both health wise and economically, will be slow.

I'd like to report an identity theft. Someone obviously stole Mr. Miller's password and posted something sensible.

I have always posted sensibly. And will continue to do so.

Actually, your posts are 99% of the time filled with twisted Trumper hate. They're about as sensible as Rush Limbaugh on acid.

And for blaming my friend for his own death from the coronavirus, I just want to say, on his behalf, fuck you, asshole.

Liberals believe that money grows on trees.  The concept that if there are no profits, there are no jobs baffles the Kevins of the world.

No jobs , no food, no medicine.

Here's two truths:

1) We cant open the economy without a plan to contain and treat the virus effectively

2) We cant wait to open the economy until the virus has been completely eradicated with no lingering threat.

I think most people get this.    At some point we will open the economy and people will get infected and some will die.    But with better testing, better treatments, and momentum on herd immunity we can get to a place where we can collectively live with COVID-19

Had a second round lof furloughs at my company today.   Feeling good to not be among them but feeling bad for their current situation.     Better days are coming.    We should all pledge to make discretionart purchases when this is over to help those hardest hit.    Trip to Vegas anyone?
