Yes - that plan (which did not cover everybody and did not cut costs) was voted down. By the same people who promised us a better system than the one they were crying about for 6 years - the same clowns you voted for. Trump promised to build a wall and have Mexico pay for it. As PJ mentioned Trump promised to repeal and replace Obamacare on day one. Not only was he going to repeal and replace it his magic Trumpcare was going to cover "everyone" and it was going to cost less. As PJ pointed out the only plans voted on would result in 20 million fewer people being covered and was going to cost the government more. He said his tax cut would mean that he and (rich)people like him would pay much more in taxes. The truth his tax plan will allow him and people like him to pay much less in taxes. Trump ran down to Maralargo right after the tax cut passed and gleefully announced, "You all just got a lot richer."
What is even more, troubling to me is his lying about things that nobody should get away with lying about. The payment to Stormy and possibly to other women as Rudy has hinted about. Calling the women he sexually assaulted or sexually harassed liars. But the top one for me is submitting a fraudulent medical report to the American people. Who in their right mind would do such a thing? It is bizarre and frankly shows anything the President says or any documents the President offers as proof of something should be treated as untruthful or false until proven truthful by independent evidence.
No..no..no...his biggest lie is the one about balancing the budget in 8 years....which is the premise that his tax cuts for billionaires pay for themselves and then some. But dont just blame Trump - thats the salespitch of the entire Republican Party.
And now that they've blown open the deficit (without a peep from their base) they will be coming for your retirement. Be prepared for Republicans telling you to wait until 70 to hang up your hat because we have to reconcile Donny Dimwitz taxcut.

Trump just announced he wants to claw back 7 billion from children’s healthcare to pay for the aforementioned tax cut. He says it is the first of many clawbacks on the way. Keep in mind he also promised during the campaign to not cut Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security. He said it was what made him different from the other Republican candidates. That is another lie because CHIP is part of Medicaid.

Wow. These are all personal things and nobody knows for certain IF they were lies or not but none of this has any impact on the American people, not even close to 20 million people who shockingly got cancellation notices on their health insurance, it's not just out of the ballpark but it's on a different planet. The only affect your accusations actually have is on people like you who want nothing more than to catch DT in a lie, no matter how minor. PJ Oh yea, I'm extremely pissed at the budget he signed, my biggest beef with O was how much he kept racking up the debt. Remember tho one of his campaign promises was to cut the deficit in half or don't elect him for a second term, a lie that actually IMPACTED the entire country. I have not lost sight of our debt whatsoever and like I said, I'm pissed about it.
jatki, I guess you missed the late 1990s where Republicans told us there was no lie that doesn't have an impact on the American people when told by the President. Almost every elected Republican said the “Rule of Law” required them to Impeach President Clinton over a lie about a consensual blowjob. If you supported the Impeachment of Bill Clinton, there is something fundamentally wrong with your moral compass, if you don’t advocate impeaching Trump on the same grounds.
Many Americans voted for DT because he told them he was going to give them something better than Obama Care. He said it was going to cover everyone and it would cost less for both the patients and the government. Those lies matter very much to people that have health issues or loved ones that do.
Many people that depend on Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid voted for DT because he said he wasn’t going to cut those programs. It matters to them that very much that those programs are going to be cut.
