When he became president his sons took over running the company, much like when pelosi (for example puts her stock in a trust). The Chinese paid for services at the hotels and offices. The money did not got directly to President Trump but to the Trump Organization, who then used the revenue to pay the expenses for operating the hotels & offices.
Even though the biden gang does not have an actual business nor did they provide any actual services they did receive $5+m from the Chinese and millions from other countries. Their only expenses are the monies that are distributed to the family members.
