Obama did a lot of unconstitutional things. As to why so many were silent I cannot answer. I can only attempt to assure you that I was not silent.
I can say that over the last 30 plus years I've seen a similar pattern from both sides of the aisle. The morality or constitutionality of an action seems to weigh heavily upon the partisanship of the actor.
Furthermore I must reject the label of liberal that ( by implication) you have attempted to thrust upon me. I am not a liberal. Unless you mean to say 18th century classical liberal but based on the context of your post I would say that's not what you meant.
