God, you're stupid. Trump made no secret of his invasion plans or his war. And guess what--Presidents HAVE to "involve" Congress in the process of making war--even members of the opposition party.
What other Presidents may have done in similar situations is irrelevant to the present situation. The Constitution says that what he's doing is illegal. As LiveFree pointed out, Presidents of both parties have played fast and loose with that. That doesn't excuse or justify Trump's actions now.
As I recall, you Republipigs have been always been quite vocal in your criticism of undeclared wars. Unless a Republipig President starts them, of course.

We have no legal jurisdiction in Venezuela. Therefore, we cannot lawfully perform arrests there.
You don't know whether I complained or not about the Bin Laden capture. But what I said or didn't say then has not the slightest bearing on the legality of Trump's undeclared war.
Just like your approval of it and your overall slobbering fealty to him means less than nothing. That's why it doesn't say "Ask stupid Tom" anywhere in the Constitution.
