Trump invades Venezuela with ground troops

kevin didn't complain when we "invaded" Pakistan to kill bin Laden without congressional approval.

I believe he had Congressional approval to seek and capture bin laden.

Several Republicans do oppose it. Massie, Paul, and others. There should be more though.

Very, very few overall. Given that their orange master campaigned on "no foreign wars" and took a solemn oath to obey and defend the Constitution, each and every one of them should be outraged and up in arms. But they know what happens to Trump apostates, and they're moral cowards. After all, most of them have worked their passage by kneeling before Trump and spreading their ass cheeks. Daring to criticize him now would make all that debasement for nothing.

Yes, he did, and he didn't act until he had obtained such approval, but Tom's sole criterion for whether a Presidential action is lawful is whether that President is Republican or Democrat.

No he didn't

President Barack Obama did not notify Congress before the May 2011 raid that killed Osama bin Laden, and the administration framed the strike as lawful under the 2001 AUMF and principles of self‑defense rather than as an operation requiring prior congressional authorization; this departure from the strict letter of the War Powers Resolution produced legal debate but no definitive judicial resolution

Thank you for the citation. I will look into that. It was my understanding that the 2001 authorization for use of military force granted him the ability to find and capture bin laden wherever he may be. My belief may have been incorrect I will look further into it. Thank you

Democrats will approve nothing that Trump proposes.

Yes, that is the notification I was referring to. He informed Congress on multiple occasions that a hunt for Bin Laden was under way.

Obama did not seek or receive congressional approval before killing Bin Laden.  Kevin didn't care, however.

Nor should they. Germans should not have approved of anything that Hitler proposed. Same situation.
