Trump is going to inherit a turd of a financial market crisis.

They just got handed fraudulent books.  So, they are basically going to get blamed for what is coming.

I have never seen such blatant manipulation of government statistics.

There is government spending and government hiring to paper over what is truly a bad economy for the average man.

Talk about pathetic.  The translation: We just realized we can't deliver what we promised so it is time to blame someone else.

Of course, we are talking about a recession because that is what removing 5% of the workforce in an already tight labor market and then tacking on high tariffs to practically everything will do. Those are inflationary policies that discourage people from spending money.  After the election, one of Trump's handlers must have told him what his policies would do to the inflation rate.

I suspect this type of language will be invoked to appease the uneducated as to why Trump isn't enacting the policies he promised to.

You voted for the clown show and now you are complaining about the circus.

Inherited a clown show and now have to fix it.  There fixed it for you!

Nope, you made up bullshit.  No econmy can absorb a rapid 5% shrinkage of the labor force and massive across the board price hikes. Your guy is brining in the clowns, the tents and of course mountains of elephant shit. You bitches are 100% responsible for what happens now.   That is the prize for winning the election.

The last three Republican administrations were handed a golden egg for an economy and turned it into Humpty Dumpty by the end.   Lets see if Trump can continue the tradition in his second term.   He already did it in his first.

I'm hoping he doesnt.    Pretty sure he will.

I'm hoping that he enacts all of his stated policies and that the economy goes completely into the shitter as a result. Then, it'll be fun to hear him weasel and blame everyone but himself (and his loyal lackeys on this forum will chime in in apologia).

My guess is that inflation will continue to gradually subside over the next couple of months, and Trump will inherit a robust economy, and claim it was all because of him...on Day One.

Hahaha!  Golden egg.  You're calling this economy a golden egg?  Keep polishing that turd.  The people spoke, voted on that golden 'egg' and chose a better leader.  They are tired and broke.

Yes, they spoke.  They said they don't like high prices. They also revealed they are completely ignorant of all econmic matters not understanding a low inflation rate doesn't lead to lower prices.

But the bright side, for me anyway, is to watch the folks that spoke, as you put it,  for lower prices get hit with 20% - 60% price increases overnight.

They truly believe that the President of the United States completely controls the worldwide price of consumer goods. So inflation is totally Biden's fault. DAWWWK!

But one question never gets asked of the morons who believe this. Why didn't Biden lower the price of gas to 50 cents a gallon and bacon to 25 cents a pound? That would have gotten him reelected in a landslide, right? Why didn't he do that? One wave of his magic wand, and...!
