Trump is incredibly dumb or senile

Highest rate of manufacturing job layoffs since covid.

There is no indication of "future" job growth.

The revenue "raised" by tariffs came directly from the pockets of American taxpayers. Ironic, since MAGA always yells at Democrats for raising taxes.

It's estimated that the Trump tariffs cost the average American household $1000 in 2025.

I don't think we can stand much more of these "amazing" "accomplishments "

So yes, quite dumb. Trump truly doesn't understand the most fundamental aspects of how tariffs work: namely, who pays them. He thinks that when he slaps tariffs on Canadian goods, Canada pays them. Dumb!

Now scream at me, insult me, call me a liar, etc. etc. That will not change reality.

And neither does David.

No need to "scream" - the nonsense you posted here "screams" loud enough.

It would be interesting to hear David's side of the story....

He denies everything. I'd be shocked if he admitted any of it. I can only reiterate that when he successfully ruined my blog, he told the fairy tale that Anthony had taken it down--and when I challenged him to prove that by simply asking Anthony to confirm or deny it, his response was a deafening silence. Even th'ough I promised to leave LVA forever if Anthony confirmed Miller's version of events!

So as I said, I have more reasons than I stated in my post to believe that Miller is the person the 4Q employees were referring to, but to give those reasons might get my friends in trouble. I actually hope I'm wrong and that the nasty old man from Texas was someone else. I wouldn't want them to have to deal with Miller.

My friend in security did give me some useful tips re Miller's threats of violence.

What part of my post was "nonsense"? The figures are accurate. The statement of how tariffs work is accurate.

Are you calling my post "nonsense" simply because it contains criticism of Trump?

I'd be shocked if you had the honesty to admit that.

Oh, DA TROOTY TROOT?

Miller has a strange habit of calling his statements "actual facts," "true truth," "factual reality," etc. He doesn't even realize that using that phraseology is like saying "wet water" or "big large." It makes him sound pompous and foolish.

Or like "roaring economy roaring like never before"

Substantially before he was born.  That's a long time before.

The Supreme Court did him a favor when they ruled his tarrifs were illegal. He could've gotten away from an awful policy and blamed someone else for it not working.

Instead, he tries to illegally institute more tariffs. Nobody likes the tariffs Democrats, independents and even a lot of Republicans.

Is he dumb or senile?

He's both, actually. His mind is clearly crumbling, as evidenced by his inability to stay on any topic for more than ten seconds and his rambling stream-of-consciousness blather. Furthermore, he appears to have completely lost whatever emotional control he once had, as he goes ballistic twenty times a day.

But his salient feature is still his stupidity. And as Mark said, he's the worst kind of dumb--he thinks he's smart. A dumb leader can still be OK if he realizes that he's dumb--he won't try to take actions in areas where he knows nothing--instead, he delegates responsibility. Trump handling the US economy is like a baboon flying an airliner.

As a recent example, Dubya was a moron--but he knew he was a moron. So he handed everything off to his Cabinet and aides and spent the years after 9/11 staring at the Oval Office wall and eating Cheetos.

The aggravating factor is that he's surrounded himself with incompetent yes-men who will NEVER tell him he's wrong and his policies are dumb.

And you apparently do not comprehend the end result of imposing tariffs. These are the negatives - Increased Consumer Prices: Tariffs commonly lead to higher prices for goods, increasing the cost of living and reducing consumer purchasing power. Higher Costs for Business: Companies that import raw materials or components face higher expenses, which can cause them to raise prices on finished goods or reduce production.--- These are the Positives - Protection for Domestic Industries: By making imported goods more expensive, tariffs can help local manufacturers compete, potentially shielding them from foreign competition. Reduced Trade Volumes: Tariffs are designed to reduce imports, which can lead to a decline in international trade and, sometimes, a narrowing of the trade deficit. Retaliation and Trade Wars: Targeted countries often impose retaliatory tariffs, leading to escalating trade tensions and reduced export opportunities for domestic firms. Government Revenue Generation: Tariffs generate revenue for the government, with recent studies showing significant income collected from importers. - the overall effect is to balance trade, bring jobs and manufacturing back to America, and to rely less on foreign products. These changes do not happen overnight, but when in place, America sees long term benefits.

That still doesn't answer my question
