Trump is a threat to

bureaucracy.  I hear people in DC are already putting their multi million dollar homes on the market in anticipation of losing their parasitic jobs.

And the good news is since they are government employees they simply can't be fired. I don't doubt Trump will which will result in years of costly litigation. At the conclusion of which, you will continue to pay those people's salaries and benefits for years to come. Look at what McCabe got after Trump fired him.

So you will continue to pay those parasites' salaries, the litigation costs, the salaries of the incompetent MAGA goons that replaced them and when you need to speak with someone at a Goverment agency all you will get is an incompetent MAGA boob that is new in their job.

On the brightside it will make the MAGAs temporarily feel much better and the fired employees can retire and continue to get paid. I call that a win win because everyone gets a payday on the taxpayers' dime. I almost forgot the lawyers will make out like bandits on your money too! 😆

THUMP....THUMP Me MAGA breaking things make me feel good. ... THUMP... THUMP.

In 2019 federal spending was $4.4T.  In 2024 it is $6.8T a 50% increase, far exceeding even the biden inflation.  What increase in the quality of life are Americans receiving for this?

The 80,000 recently hired IRS staff are still on probation & can be eliminated.  There are other employees who are also on probation & can be eliminated.  Many employees are part time & therefore not civil service.  3.7m are employed as contractors and also not subject to civil service rules.  Additional jobs can be eliminated by not filling vacancies.

Underutilized federal buildings can be consolidated.

The USA is broke, over a trillion dollars gets added to the debt every 100 days.  Yes, it'll take some pain to restructure, but its necessary.

Some good points Tom but drops in the bucket. If you fire those IRS employees people won't get their refunds which will make them very angry.

I have really never met a competent or hard working government employee.  If some of you have, more power to you.

Just a few quick thoughts.  There is the rampant fraud in medicare/medicaid/SS plus fraud in other programs such as the covid relief.

There is no need for a 50% increase in spending in 4 years.

People got their refunds before doubling the size of the IRS.

Their positions can be eliminated.  Agencies can be dismantled.  Departments can be eliminated.  Unlike the private sector that goes through regular layoffs, reorganizations, downsizing and rebuilds, the Federal Bureaucracy has only grown fatter and less productive decade after decade.  It's about time we get rid of the redundancy, fraud, waste and abuse don't you think?

Besides we'll need qualified people to replace all of the unskilled labor being deported....oh wait...I said 'qualified'.  We'll have to use Tesla Robots to replace the unskilled, uneducated labor that we'll be giving free trips home...that is after we send home the criminals and terrorists and the million people already under deportation orders.

People didnt get busted for cheating before doubling the size if the IRS.    Every study shows that every IRS auditor hired by Biden  brings in 10X their salary in new found tax evasion collections.   It shouldnt surprise you that the new president with his long history of cheating on his taxes wants fewer cops on the job.

Same dynamic with people who investigate Medicare Fraud.

I'm old enough to remember when Republicans cried abouy defunding the police.    Now they open the floodgates to fraud and tell voters with a straight face its saving their tax dollars

The  dollars spent on all labor income accross the board is 15% of the Federal budget.    Lets say they cut that in half (they wont) .  That doesnt even put a dent into the 2 trillion/year they are promising.

I'm not concerned about their overpromising and underdelivering.   What else would you expect given everything he's said/done in the past?

The big problem is this......he wants to fire and replace 200,000 workers with sycophants with his schedule F thingy.    Aside from the purity test and awarding jobs based on loyalty not expertise which is alarming on its own merit.    (Can you say DEEP STATE)?    Much more worrying is the idea that becomes the norm going forward.   Are we going to fire and replace 200K people every 4-8 years?  Who in their right mind would apply for one of those jobs knowing they will be fired the next time a new administration comes into power?   Would you take one of those jobs?
