Oh sure. That must be it. 'Severe mental health issues' is always the first conclusion we jump to when a politician decides not to participate in an event. I'm sure that would be your first thought next time a democrat has a 'schedule conflict'.

First candiate in over 40 years to not attend in person. Must be she's just too much of a coward...or worse...her severe mental health issues are flaring up. She seemed kind of confused, emotional and angry in that Fox interview, no?
It is not just one event. It is several. He also refuses to debate and won't do any interviews that fact check him. In your great wisdom what would make a candidate in a toss-up race do that?
Keep in mind he just bombed his Univision town hall, his town hall on Fox was stocked with pro-Trump voters which Fox tried to hide and they even edited out the MAGA chants becuase they were selling it as a town hall for undecided female voters.
And then there was his dance party after he couldn't summon enough mental horsepower to continue to answer friendly questions when the questions and answers were provided to him in advance.
I forgot to mention his disastrous Bloomberg event where he made it absolutely clear he doesn't understand anything about how tarrifs work eventhough they are the centerpiece of his economic plan.
