Trump just stole $10 from my pocket

Filled my tank today. $10 more than two weeks ago, before Trump's war started.

At least I have a small car and don't drive very much. I'm going to be spending $20 more a month, but there are doubtless millions of people who will be kissing hundreds of extra $$$ goodbye every month.

To that, add the $100+ every month that every family spends on food that they didn't have to before.

The upshot is that there's $200 or so less in your pocket every month, because of Trump.

Not Biden. Not Obama. Not Democrats. Not bunny rabbits. Not sunspots. Trump.

And of course, the demented fools who voted for him.

Trump. And you assholes who enabled him.

Trump.

Sorry to hear it takes more money to fill the tank in your socialist state, how much have your gas taxes risen in 10 years and what's the aggregate cost over that time?

The good news is you can pay your bicycle tax and ride that around instead of driving your Suburu Outback.

kevin has no trouble paying the 12th highest gas taxes

or being 4th in gas prices due to Ca gas regulations on producers

It could get worse as Chevron is thinking of closing their Ca refinery.

Just got hit with a whopping 55 cents per-gallon Tom tax. Thanks Tom.

Well, I do not mind paying a high gas tax--it goes for roads, bridges, and other transportation infrastructure that I use.  The more I use that infrastructure the more I pay.  I don't mind paying for what I use.  Also I do not mind regulations on producers---if they create the pollution, they should pay for cleaning it up.  We should not subsidize producers' profits by passing the cost on to the whole society in the form of dangerously dirty air and water.  Do you think the whole society should suffer such pollution in order to let energy producers have higher profits?

Yikes! You're quoting David, the stupidest person I have ever run across in 60 years of life in real life or online?

No wonder you wanted to set up a boxing match between the two old men and have us bet on it, you're fucking nuts.

I'm just trying to stir Kevin up.  It is a hobby.  Sad thing is, I don't mind the guy.

We have relatively high gas taxes in Oregon. That's because we have multiple highways that cross high mountain passes, a long coastal route that requires constant maintenance, and frequent inclement weather, flooding, and snowfall. Our gas taxes cover those expenses, and it's done extremely well.

In Tom's Shitbag in the Desert, all tax money goes toward hunting and killing Mexicans. I've never seen any roads and highways in worse repair than I have in Arizona.
