"They still don't have their city permits. They have all their Federal permits. The mayor said "I think we can have them in 2 years. People wanted to start rebuilding immediately. Two years? Are you kidding me? Now they're talking about putting low-income housing there. This is one of the most beautiful areas in the country. I built low income housing. They want to replace those homes with low income housing. They haven't even gotten their permits yet. Those people are angry. They loved their neighborhood. Now they want to leave. They've lost their spirit, they've lost their heart. The mayor of LA is incompetent. Gavin is incompetent. He's got a good line of bullshit, but he's incompetent. The fact that these people still don't have their permits is a disgrace."
