Trump Promises The Creation Of A "Unified Reich" If Elected

He actually posted this to Truth Social.

Time and time again Trump tells people who he is and what he wants to do to America.  Yet a significant portion of the population doesn't believe their own eyes and ears.

David, Tom and Boiler are you on board with the replacement of our curret system in favor  of a unified Reich lead ɓy Trump?

Pretty sure the knucklehead that included a line from the WWI Wikipedia page that referenced a unified Reich is getting fired.  It's all just idiotic propaganda, and people are falling for it.

Biden goofs and says he was the VP during the pandemic when he meant the Great Recession, and Trump or (allegedly someone else from his camp) posts a video with reference to a unfied Reich.

Dumb ass shit coming from both of these guys.   It's like the Keystone Kops.  SMH

Washington had it right: "However [political parties] may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people and to usurp for themselves the reins of government, destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion."

From his Farewell Address in 1796.

One was mispeaking the other was published in a video and that phrase appears twice in that video. I just don't see how you make that type of mistake twice when creating a video.

And yet it gets people talking.  Those that support him won't care.  Will be interesting to get my mom's take on this.  She is a Trump supporter, but also grew up in the aftermath of Nazi Germany, and has no love for the Nazis.

Trump often makes tongue in cheek comments.  He also make generations, saying all when he actually means most.  Those who wish to twist the truth of of his actual intent are free to do so.  Smart people know what he means.  The next you know, Liberals will tell is that the GOP wants to kill babies and old people.

Yeah, when Trump says his awful shit, you idiots apologize for him by saying it was "tongue-in-cheek." You also say "he doesn't really mean to do that." Uh huh. Germans thought that all that talk about killing all the Jews was just hyperbole.

Even if he IS "just kidding," do you think that a presidential candidate should be talking like that? Well. Boiler? Is it appropriate?

And when you shrug off every instance of this stupid shit, does that mean that you're no longer going to be staring at Fox Nooze 24/7, waiting for a video of Biden getting some word wrong? Because we KNOW you're not a hypocrite.

My prediction is that she'll laugh it off and say that he wasn't serious. I feel sorry for you. If my mom was a Trumper, I'd have no choice but to abandon her on an ice floe.

There are so many parallels between today's America and Germany in 1933, and history does indeed repeat itself, especially for those who don't learn from it.

Don't feel bad for me.  She is a great mom, with a big heart.  Love her to death, her politics not withstanding.

Yeah, it's funny, I know lots of people whom I considered good-hearted (and some of whom I had known for decades) but who went full Trump and have stayed that way...and I remain baffled by how a good person could ever, ever, ever support the Turd. But returning, I suppose, to my favorite tired analogy, not every German in 1933 was a monster. I guess it's an artifact of the human flaw that good people can so easily talk themselves into saying/doing bad things (and justify them).

Similarly to you, I still love my friends who have gone over to the dark side, because I attribute that to their weakness rather than any inherent evil nature. But sadly, we can't really interact any more.
