Trump promises to pardon Jan 6 terrorists

Quite sure this is directed to my response.  And, yes, I do note Trump's carefully crafted words, "treat them fairly" etc.  And...pardon?  Oh, please.  These were adults, not teenagers going along with the crowd.. 

But the last bleeding heart words in the paragraph "because they are being treated so poorly" should scream his intent.

Candy, you made the mistake of trying to engage in rational and civil discussion with David Miller. As you can see, that's hopeless. He'll believe what he wants to believe as a loyal Trumper, and he'll scream at and insult anyone who dares to express an opposing opinion. (Oh, and call them a liar.)

Yes, of course, Trump picked his words relatively carefully--just like he did when he gave his bromide at the hate rally that spawned the insurrection. He's not entirely stupid, and he still has a cabal of loyal lackeys, some of whom are lawyers. So they would have cautioned him about what not to say.

But isn't that the action of a true coward? Incite and promise to commit high crimes--while tiptoeing around with rhetoric that just might lead to plausible deniability. "I didn't tell them to storm the Capitol--that was their idea!" And now, it'll be, "I didn't say I'd pardon them, I said they would be treated fairly!"

Trump's chickenshit cowardice might be his single most loathsome of a plethora of loathsome traits. And David Miller's support of that scumbag is the most loathsome of his myriad loathsome traits. Miller fully realizes Trump's intent, for the insurrection and for pardoning the insurrectionist criminals. Then he pretends not to understand that. Disgusting in the extreme, but typical for him.

Don't announce it to the world, Davey Dear! Even fewer people are going to believe you now!

I have no problem with his age.  I have a problem with him not being able to stay on topic because he is senile.

"We will treat them fairly. And if it requires pardons we will give them pardons. Because they are being treated so unfairly." -- Apparently some have a problem with comprehension. President Trump did NOT promise any pardons - re read what he said, "if it requires pardons we will give them pardons". The headline of this posting is a distorted version of what he actually said - which is what you get from a lying liberal like PJ. Secondly, the people who have been held in prison have been treated unfairly and this is easily verified if Googled. You morons who eat up the lies of the corrupt media need to check out truthful, verifiable sources and get your "facts" straight before posting the lies you have swallowed. God Damn you people are stupid - just how many more of the lies dished out by the lying media and the lying DemocRats are you going to believe? 

How are they being treated unfairly?
