Trump Purposes Hate Speech Protection Plan

Are you a White Nationalist that wants to post your racist hate-filled manifesto before you head out to shoot up your local big-box retailer but are frustrated because Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram keep shutting your account down before you can unleash your terror attack?

Are you in the middle of live streaming your murder spree only discover that some liberal social media company has disabled your stream?

Well, fret no longer because President Trump has got your back. Under his new proposal, he is going to sick the FCC on those mean old companies for not publishing your manifesto or failing to live stream your attack.

Trump's new proposal

As usual Mark misrepresents the facts.

The idea is to stop sites like Twitter deleting the Senate Majority Leader for posting videos of people threatening to kill him, while leaving the same videos that the protesters posted.

Lol, nope, it is not. It was a long-standing rule on Twitter that was evenly enforced. If AOC would have posted some of the numerous threats she receives, her account would have been shut down until she deleted them.  It is another case of a crybaby conservative that gets his panties in a wad when someone dares hold him to the same standard as they do everyone else.

I am not saying I agree with the rule.  It was a stupid rule but it was a privately-owned platform deciding what they wanted on their platform and it was evenly enforced. Private companies do things all the time that I don't like but that doesn't mean I expect the government to come in and force them to follow my rules.

As I have said before, I agree with some of the conservative points on this issue but this matter should be handled through enforcement of existing anti-trust laws that would allow for more competition and platforms with a variety of rules that would allow end-users to select something that suits their needs.

Make no mistake about it this new policy is a big government policy designed to mandate a "safe space" for White Nationalist conservatives on privately-owned platforms.

If there had been a system in place like this,  Advisor posters would not have been subjected to the 3 years of collusion lies form PJ and Mark, and from the continuing lies and twisting of the truth that they continue to spew. How refreshing and enjoyable this forun would and could be...

It is no surprise that David Miller wants his safe space. Perhaps, Trump will also give him a participation trophy.

Quote Mark---  "It is no surprise that David Miller wants his safe space."----  No, I want my SANE place. So, go away and quit with your insane, ignorant rhetoric. No one, except for your brother PJ, cares to read anymore of your lies and twisted stupidity.

Yet you hang on every word I write. Something about your claim doesn't add up.

Mark lies again. The video that got McConnell banned was the same video posted by the protesters, who were not banned.

The rules are not applied evenly as there have been numerous cases of conservatives being banned only to be reinstated with an apology & a statement saying the policy is being reviewed.

Alright, show me both videos then. Assuming for a moment that they are identical as you say, you still don't get it.  Twitter relies on other users to report things that violate the rules.  If an unknown person posts a video that breaks the rules it is likely that it will go unnoticed and it won't be reported. If a U.S. Senator posts a video that violates the rules it will be noticed and get reported.  That is the distinction that seems to have left you dumbfounded.

As I said before, If AOC would have posted threats she has received on her Twitter they would have blocked her account too.
