He snuck in in Michigan, which I suppose is no surprise, given how Republican-dominated (politically; not population-wise) that state is.
I wonder just what positive effect, if any, removing Trump from primary ballots will have. He sure as hell won't be removed in red states; in fact, the Supreme Courts of those states won't hear any such cases.
Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine) criticized the Maine secretary of state’s decision to remove former President Trump from the Maine primary ballot Thursday, arguing that thoughts on the Jan. 6 Capitol riots should be between the voter and the ballot box.
“Maine voters should decide who wins the election — not a Secretary of State chosen by the Legislature,” Collins wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “The Secretary of State’s decision would deny thousands of Mainers the opportunity to vote for the candidate of their choice, and it should be overturned.”
She is concerned that democrats are continuing to interfere in the election & are a threat to democracy. Let the voters decide.
Bellows had made her mind up 3 years ago.
“The Jan. 6 insurrection was an unlawful attempt to overthrow the results of a free and fair election,” Bellows wrote in one tweet. “Today 57 senators including King & Collins found Trump guilty. That’s short of impeachment but nevertheless an indictment. The insurrectionists failed, and democracy prevailed.”

She's a Republican and is afraid that her boy won't get nominated.
Just like you.
