Sure, that's actually where almost everyone is these days, in a state where it doesn't seem like your vote can affect the outcome, so why bother? I'm in Oregon, which will never go Republican, so my vote won't make any difference...but there are a few states that used to be dead-red and are now purple, or for that matter were true-blue and are now leaning purple as well. My thoughts are that if you're in a minority, it will still send a message if you're a significant force, and if you're in a majority, it will demonstrate your side's solidarity or lack thereof. That said, the Electoral College is an antiquated abomination...but we're stuck with it for now.
I think that Trumpers have the strongest incentive to vote, because that will keep the Thought Police away after Emperor Trump assumes office and starts "making America great." They won't put you in a camp if you voted for the Orange Turd. Not in the first round, anyway (if you voted for Obama, you'd still be in trouble).
