Trump Said His Cutoff For Dating Was 12

TDS is going strong.  Thing are going exceptionally well for America and you guys hate it.  Kevin tells us that immigration data, inflation data and all other government data is false.  He tells us the stock market decrease was horrible and the magnificent rebound is unimportant.  Where will the lunacy end?  

I think it's funny how MAGA ignored the stock market for 4 years, and now our local MAGA love to bring it up in threads that don't have anything to do with the markets.

This is behind a paywall on the Denver Post, but I thought it was funny, the way two Republicans talk about Trump.

"In November 2022, a month after Colorado state Rep. Hugh McKean died of a heart attack, McKean’s longtime partner called his replacement for the coming term, Ron Weinberg.

Amy Parks asked Weinberg about allegations she had heard about him sexually harassing women at a prominent conservative leadership event earlier that year, Parks told The Denver Post. Weinberg denied the allegations, Parks said, and the two talked about the Loveland-based House seat that Weinberg had been appointed to fulfill as the successor to McKean, the late House minority leader.

Weinberg had beat three candidates for the vacancy committee’s appointment earlier that month. Parks had nominated one of the other contenders, Kristy Hall, and she said that she told Weinberg in the call that he needed to improve his behavior or he risked losing his next election.

According to Parks, Weinberg replied that if Hall challenged him again, he would “kick her in the pussy.”

Taken aback, Parks told him that sounded “Trumpy.”

“Trump uses his hands,” Weinberg replied, according to Parks. “I use my feet.”"

I've said it before, Trump is a loose cannon.  He fires off without thinking of consequences, how a 'clever' comment he thinks would be a good look on him could bring laughs instead of disdain.   

Saying publicly his daughter has a "very nice figure"...how bad is that?  But he gets egged on by those who know they can get something more from it, highlight their own interview, expound on meanings. 

Loose lips.  Hung by the tongue (no pun intended).  He should be smarter than that.

Power...what was it...corrupts?  Anything goes, until it doesn't.

Trump is an ass.  Trump is a loose cannon.  Trump is a great president and what our country needs.

Someone who is an ass and a loose cannon cannot possibly be a halfway decent President. Not to mention a rapist and a pedo.

The real question, though, is: Is he primarily just a thoughtless jerk, or is he actively evil and malevolent? His multiple felonies, rapes, child molestations, and his utter disregard for honesty strongly suggest the latter.

I do take exception with your implication that his negative image is even partially due to how reporters have portrayed him. Sorry, but the opposite is true: he's been given a free pass for the most part.

If you disagree with the above, take a moment and imagine how the media would have treated Biden if he had done one tenth of the shit Trump has.

One of the reasons why religion, in all its myriad forms and guises, has been so popular through history is that it (in all its versions) crafts the comforting lie that there WILL ultimately be justice and while that guy up on the hill in the castle is an asshole, he's going to hell, ha ha, and good for him.

The truth is almost certainly much less satisfying. There is NO evidence of Heaven, Hell, or reincarnation. There is NO evidence of a system of justice tied in with an afterlife. (There is, however, Cleveland.)

But why is the concept of the scales ultimately being balanced so pervasive? It's a balm for the less powerful and the powerless. You're getting fucked over, while Lord King Powerful is surrounded by servants and chests full of gold. Feels a lot better if you're going to Heaven and he's going to Cleveland.

AND--King Powerful fervently wants you to believe that, because you'll be less likely to get fed up, storm the castle, and hang him up by his balls. Religion keeps him securely in power.

I realize that I may be questioning one of your most rock-solid beliefs. I understand. My childhood and early adolescence were spent fighting off penguins. I never told them that eight years of Catholic school turned out to be the absolute best way to create an atheist--at least in my case.

I'm as close to certainty as I can be that Trump will NEVER be punished, in this life or any next, for all his atrocities. It would sure be nice to think that Satan is preparing a torture chamber just for him. No such luck, though.
