Trump Says Hurricane Deaths In Puerto Rico Were Made Up…

...to make him look bad.  This guy is insane. He needs to be removed by the 25th.

They just found several million bottles of water sitting in an airport, that the local govt forgot to distribute.  Most of the post hurricane problems (such as the substandard electrical grid) were due to local mismanagement.

The island has been extorted by huge U.S. banks for years with astronomical interest rates leaving them no money for infrastructure repair and upgrades. The Republicans in Congress have refused to go along with any debt relief or simply allowing them to file bankruptcy at the behest of their patrons at the big U.S. banks. The poor state of the infrastructure is the direct result of U.S. misgovernance.

The Trump administration dropped off supplies at the ports and airport and said our work is done here. They knew about the poor state of the infrastructure and they chose to do nothing. When it became clear things were going south, Trump continued to live in a fantasy land where he was the hero that had saved the day.  None of his staff were brave enough to burst the President's bubble and say, "Sir, there are major problems here that need to be addressed." As a result, almost 3,000 people died because of Trump's incompetence and his staff's cowardice.

However, the question I have for you Tom is even if what you are saying is true (it isn't) that the problems were all the result of Island's government. How do you explain Trump's bizarre fantasy of only a handful of people dying? And the bizarre belief that those deaths were made up by people out to get him?  Are those the beliefs of a sane rational person?

With Mark, it is ALWAYS President Trump's fault-  with no fault EVER given to his worthless predecessors. President Trump is always expected to fix everything immediately - just ANOTHER idiotic posting by MARK. As usual, nothing sane to see/read here by Mark.

Lol, Katrina .....Bush's fault.

Sandy......shit happens.

Puerto Rico......Trump's fault.

Florence......soon to be Trump's fault.

What's wrong with this picture?

Doc, like I did for Tom, lets put the issue of fault aside for a moment. I want you to explain how a sane rational person concludes that only a handful of people died when almost 3,000 did. And that people that were out to get him made up all of those other deaths.

Trump the POTUS and the person in charge of national disaster relief thinks 16 people died.

In actuality, almost 3,000 people died.

When confronted with the fact of these deaths, he says his political enemies made it all up.

Mark, YOU and your idiotic rhetoric are "what's wrong with this picture".

"even if what you are saying is true (it isn't) "

It is true.  Typical for mark, when confronted with facts, he denys it.

PR has $53 billion in pension liabilities - not the Republicans fault.

Or how about this quote.

"We never anticipated a scenario of zero communication, zero energy, zero highway access,” Gov. Ricardo Rossello told reporters. “I think the lesson is to anticipate the worst. … Yes, I made mistakes. Yes, in hindsight, things could’ve been handled differently.”

So PR wasn't prepared & allowed their electrical grid to collapse & somehow it is President Trump's fault.

Fritz - the Washington Post has already blamed President Trump, before the storm even hit.

As usual you three have avoided answering a simple question by providing your answer to another question that wasn't asked.

Again the question is why does the President of the United States have a false belief that only a handful of people died when almost 3,000 died?
