Trump says Mexico's president has 'agreed to stop' illegal migrants crossing into America

Here she is discussing that same conversation you posted.  She made it clear she wasn't closing the border and that to takle drugs coming across the border Trump has to address US citizen demand for the drugs.

 He wussed out and the liberal female President of Mexico put the fat orange blob in his place.

Anybody that gets their news from the conservative media ends up being woefully uninformed.

  Well moron, there is a difference between "closing the border" and stopping migration within Mexico's border. You need to reread what was in the article, and if need be, get someone to explain what was said. The only "blob" put into place is the "blob" atop your shoulders.

Really? How high of a percentage did she agree to reduce border crossings? What did she agree to do to stem the flow of drugs into the US? Show us the terms.

The truth is Trump finally got an education on how Mexico helps us at the border and how interconnected the US and Mexican economies are. 

For example, Trump learned that his tarrifs would bankrupt the US auomakers and lead to much higher inflation.

He also learned that Mexico voluntary holds the migrants (they aren't Mexican citizens) and when the US wants to deport the migrants that aren't Mexican citizens (their home countries won't take them back) Mexico resettles them in Mexico.  Mexico has no obligation to continue to do this. If Trump gives Mexico a hard time, they will simply quit helping and say well they aren't our citizens so they aren't our problem. You deal with it on your own now.

Border crossings would go up and Trump wouldn't have anyplace to deport the migrants to. They would have to stay in the US indefinitely.

BTW border crossing are lower now than when Biden took over from Trump so any increase in border crossings are all on Trump.

 Apparently these facts caught Trump by suprise.  It is sad the President doesn't actually know how our relationships with our closest allies work. 

There was recent reporting out that during his first term Trump couldn't even understand that the Central American countries aren't part of Mexico. He thought they were Mexican states like we have states here in the US.

I am really pleased she taught Trump how tarrifs work and how inflation works. That will benefit all of us. It is a shame his advisors and the conservative media continues to treat Trump like a mushroom.  They keep him in the dark and feed him shit.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo will end up doing exactly what Trump demands.  It's going to happen before Trump imposes tariffs or after, but she will cave.  When this inevitably happens, any tariffs will be eliminated, and American Liberals will whine and say that Trump shouldn't have been mean to Mexico.

About 80% of Canada's exports go to the US.  They will fold immediately.

 And these liberals will move on to another asinine topic to complain about - that is all they do...

The tariffs won't last long, because Mexico and Canada will cave quickly.  Mark's memory isn't very good, as he doesn't remember when Trump forced Mexico to slowing the influx of illegals coming through Mexico.

After immigration is under control, Mark will tell us that Trump had nothing to do with it.
