Trump signs Phase One of China Trade Deal

Kevin's newfound concern for farmers was all for naught.  American farmers are certainly very happy today.  After 1 year of pain, farmers will now experience many years of fantastic export volumes.  We all know Kevin actually holds great distain for farmers and all rural dwellers.  More great things to come!

Der Fuhrer has been proven wrong multiple times, and still he bloviates and twists the truth to conform with his distorted view of reality.

Yeah. Trump's deal will last until he breaks it. Just like every single one of his agreements with individuals and nations alike.

It's no accomplishment to pointlessly destroy something and then replace it. That's what Trump did, and he just announced his China tariffs aren't going away. So he's continuing to ass-fuck those poor farmers that Boiler and Stalker claim to love.

That "1 year of pain" for farmers never had to happen--and nothing about Trump's new deal will change that until he rescinds his dumb bully-boy tariffs, which have crushed American farmers, especially the morons in the MAGA hats.

Ha Ha Ha - Der Fuhrer should get his own comedy club and star in his "Wrong Again Tour".

Kevin was on board with China charging an average of 20% on stuff we sent there, and the US charging 6% on stuff China sent here.  Logical folks understand that America was getting screwed.  Trump has had to put up with a bunch of whiny Liberals while he's negotiated better trade deals with various countries, but he had succeeded.  This will mean many more American jobs, and wages rising far faster than inflation.

What you don't seem to understand is that trade is voluntary. You don't like the deal, you don't buy what is offered or sell what is asked. If you don't like the price, in either sense, no one's being "screwed." You just don't buy or sell.

You also don't understand that China buys and sells from individual companies in the US, not from "us" collectively. Those companies are free to not buy stuff from China if they feel it's too high priced or not sell stuff to them if they feel the price offered isn't enough. In other words, business as usual.

Why do you and Trump object to that?

All it took to get Republicans on board with picking winners and losers in the economy was having Trump say its a good idea.   When Obama put tarriffs on Chinese tires and Solar Panels the entire Republican universe collectively shit their pants....nobody more so than Larry Kudlow who is one of the architects behind the current trade deals with China.

I'm glad people like Boilerman now understand that free trade is not possible with countries who subsidize their manufacturing while paying impoverished wages to their workforce.

I think Trump's confrontation with China has been one of the few positives of his administration.    And the socialist tarriffs on China's goods and the Socialist subsidies for our farmers were the right course of action - (which does not make them any less Socialist in nature).   And it should serve as a good object lesson the next time conservatives get in their ivory tower and preach their purist views of capitalism and the dangers of Socialism.  ( it wont but it should).

Because they deal WAS bad for America.

Based on what objective criteria?

Trump's sole criterion was that it was something that Obama accomplished--that made it 'bad."

Tell me why the deal was "bad." And don't be vague, and don't cite alt-right nonsense.
