Kevin was on board with China charging an average of 20% on stuff we sent there, and the US charging 6% on stuff China sent here. Logical folks understand that America was getting screwed. Trump has had to put up with a bunch of whiny Liberals while he's negotiated better trade deals with various countries, but he had succeeded. This will mean many more American jobs, and wages rising far faster than inflation.
What you don't seem to understand is that trade is voluntary. You don't like the deal, you don't buy what is offered or sell what is asked. If you don't like the price, in either sense, no one's being "screwed." You just don't buy or sell.
You also don't understand that China buys and sells from individual companies in the US, not from "us" collectively. Those companies are free to not buy stuff from China if they feel it's too high priced or not sell stuff to them if they feel the price offered isn't enough. In other words, business as usual.
Why do you and Trump object to that?
