The absolutely fucking hilarious part was that Trump looted some $200+ million fund, shoved the money into his pocket, and then told her to lie about it--and when she did, under intense scrutiny from a Congressional committee, Trump threw her under the bus.
It's so amusing. Trump servants are chosen for their absolute slobbering loyalty and their willingness to say or do whatever he tells them to. So Noem was no doubt quite surprised that she obeyed his commands and got BBQed for it.
As to why, some of Trump's more honest advisors may have told him about the backlash from all her shit, and he may be considering her more of a liability than an asset. He created some ridiculous job title and "transferred" her to it. She won't have any more authority than the guy who cleans the toilets.
Oh no...without taxpayers who is going to write checks for her friends and family's businesses?
"I'm going to hire the best people . . . ." Is that the ones he fired, or the ones indicted, or the ones who were convicted, or the ones who plead guilty.
