This needs to be shouted from the rooftops. Apologists for Trump are saying, as with his "dictator" comment, that it was an off-the-cuff statement, taken out of context, he didn't mean it, it was just Trump being Trump, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. Kind of disgusting, all the apologia.
