Trump would set inflation soaring

All either one (or anyone in a similar situation) has to do is resist the urge to respond...as in, don't reply.  But this sage advice is not followed...imagine that.  LOL.

When Biden (well his handlers I guess) suggest tripling tarrifs on Chinese steel and aluminum does that policy result in massive inflation too? Or are they exempt from any cause of inflation cause they are democrats?

Biden will be putting a 25% tariff on those steel and aluminum imports that didn't already have a 25% tariff that was enacted by Trump.  Steel imports from China account for 3% of steel imports and 0.6% of total steel used in the US.  We import more aluminum from Thailand than from China.  Just political theater by both of them to increase votes with no impact on prices.

You post these numbers - do you have a source, a website that states these facts? If so, please post. Thanks

Poor Kevin, he lets his Trump-hating, Republican-hating, anything-hating, especially David Miller-hating passions get the best of him.   One side of Kevin posts good casino gambling, Vegas, hotels, casinos, eateries, etc., and often with an entertaining style.  The other side of him lets us see just that...the back side.  And he doesn't care who is affected by his nasty remarks; in fact he states he is proud to disregard the feelings of others.  He'd never make it as a politician; he'd be just like Trump, mouth wise.

Got to think that somewhere along the way somebody hurt his feelings big time, and maybe this is his therapy.

As far as David Miller, I've never read a nasty post by him.  There must be something between them to create the angst.  I have a feeling Kevin has tattled to AC about David Miller (something) enough to have given David a bad rep in AC's eyes.  After all, Kevin was once an LVA blogger for a short time, so I'm sure it has been hard on AC to come down on Kevin.

You know what I love about all of this?  Kevin can read this stuff but not post back.  That might send his blood pressure through the roof.

Interesting. Question - what made you want to delve into getting the facts about steel and aluminum tariffs?

You might like this article on the impact of the 25% worldwide imported steel tariffs that Trump inacted in 2018.  Biden hasn't learn for this.

Thank you for the question.  Before I changed careers and became an educator, my background was in market research and statistical analysis.  I get goosebumps when Anthony quotes stats on his videos.  My partner and i did the initial research for the IRS on the use of credit cards to pay taxes.  Our results were so positive that the IRS did some market tests and them institute the option.  If I didn't have a background of being able to justify my studies, I would be out of business.  When I taught at the university level, my students had to cite reliable sources to justify their conclusions to case studies.  There were times when their responses didn't match the answer in the text but they got full credit for justifying their conclusions.   For this post, I wanted to verify what was being said and give my response with what I believed were the facts.  I hope that explains things.

I find it refreshing to have someone who can back up what they post with facts. Thanks for the info. . .

I just find it very refreshing that we can all agree that Kevin has mental issues or something much deeper going on.  I think he may have been picked on as a little boy and this is his outlet.  That said, it sure is nice to have a two week break from it all.......
