Trumper violence has already started

Dozens of Trumper pickup trucks surrounded a Biden campaign bus, forced it to slow to a crawl, and one deliberately smashed into a truck that was following the bus. Trump clapped and cheered and called those thugs "patriots." Because, y'know, what could be more patriotic than crashing your truck into someone else's vehicle because they don't agree with you?

There have been reports of voter intimidation all across the US, especially in Florida. In North Carolina, the cops pepper-sprayed people at a get-out-the-vote rally. Why did the cops do that? Because most of those people were black. Meanwhile, a Trumper caravan blocked a bridge in New York for hours--and no arrests were made.

The various alt-right thug groups, cheered on by Trump, have announced plans to be at the polls tomorrow, harassing and intimidating voters. We'll see if the cops do anything about that, as voter intimidation is illegal, though not in the white-boy South. IMHO anyone holding a gun and scowling at voters should be arrested and dragged away. But if the good-ol'-boy cops in a redneck Trumper town secretly approve of that...?

Trump wants the election to magically be over on Election Day. His goons and lackeys are supporting that and bolstering the silly rhetoric that any votes counted after then would be illegitimate and just Democrats trying to "steal the election." Today, yet another court challenge is being brought by Texas Republicans, to throw out 117,000 ballots because--???--those ballots were cast at a drive-up drop-off site. Normally, that suit would be thrown out or maybe never even heard, but one of the most rabidly conservative judges in America is hearing the case.

To paraphrase Joseph Welch at the McCarthy hearings, at long last, do the Republicans have no sense of decency?

Donald Trump Addresses Racism

DonDiego is thoroughly brainwashed.

Kevin is unable to prove the above is false, so he denys its existence.

So who really is the brainwashed one?

According to reporting that came out today, the Texas Trump train that tried to force the Biden bus to stop was made up of an armed group of Q's that organized on Facebook as a militia.

Good God, at least learn to spell, Tom. This Trumper shit has rotted your brain.

It just shows what will happen if Trump wins. Armed groups of thugs attacking people. Anarchy.

The conservitards who screamed about the BLM protests have been strangely silent on this one--as they silently cheered the little boy who drove to Kenosha and shot three people, killing two.

This is the horror we're trying to stop. I understand the odds are in our favor. But the ones who hate our country, its institutions, and its freedoms could easily still win.

Kevin Lewis comments:

Hmm, . . . perhaps the Republicans are just trying to assure all the voters that all legally cast votes are counted.

From: slate.com :

Texas law states “each polling place shall be located inside a building.”

“This evening, Judge Hanen issued his order upholding drive-thru voting during the Early Voting period. He also stated his view that the tents that house most of the drive-thru voting centers would not qualify as ‘buildings,’ which are required for Election Day polling places,” Hollins wrote on Twitter. “My job is to protect the right to vote for all Harris County voters, and that includes those who are going to vote on Election Day. I cannot in good faith encourage voters to cast their votes in tents if that puts their votes at risk.”

Hollins said that one drive-thru site—the Toyota Center—would remain open on Election Day. The home of the Houston Rockets “fits the Judge’s definition of a ‘building’: it is ‘a structure with walls and a roof’ and ‘a permanent structure,’” Hollins wrote on Twitter. “It is thus unquestionably a suitable location for Election Day voting.”

DonDiego pitches specious bullshit.

The fact of the matter is that whatever some clown said on Twitter, the ballots cast at the official drive-thru voting site(s) are perfectly valid and legal. It would be an act of very bad faith for the state of Texas to set up a polling location wherein the votes received would ultimately be thrown out. That is, however, exactly what the Republicans tried--and, thankfully, failed--to do.

DonDiego would probably be quite upset if he drove to an official polling place to drop off his ballot, had his information verified by poll workers, sealed and deposited his ballot as instructed, and then found out on the news that his ballot had been declared "illegal" by a Trumper judge.
