"Zigzags back and forth to please their readers" is the most accurate characterization of how media outlets grabbed on to the story. Were I the managing editor of The Atlantic (what the heck is that anyway?) I would fire Ms. Flanagan on the spot for her opening paragraph, which seemed to be stating the publication's position on the event. Maybe it actually was, but the mess she put together is...a mess. Well, you certainly seem obsessed with skin color, don't you? Take the word "brown" out of your racist phrase and replace it with "illegal" and then you would be correct. I would be happy to welcome a legal immigrant of any color over a white illegal immigrant if that makes you feel better. So far, I've only read about ten of your comments but I agree 100% with LVFritz' analysis of you. The funny part of all this is how many gullible fools jumped on this story on day one as if it was 100% accurate. I never trust these stories until more info is released.
