Golly, it seems just like yesterday when conservatives, including those here, were bellyaching about Obama's bad deal with Iran. Yet, the deal worked. Our intelligence agencies all agreed the Iranians were complying with it. Still, Trump didn't care as it was an Obama accomplishment, so he simply broke the treaty. Now they are surrounding the American embassy in Iraqi shouting death to America. It looks like we are in for a long expensive quagmire.
And North Korea complied with the Clinton agreement. How did that work out? Trump understood Korea lied and Iran is lying.

Really? Kim Jong-un has cleaned Trump's clock several times now.
Iran's nuclear program was halted under the "horrible Obama peace deal that was the worst deal ever".
And under Trump's new and improved deal - Iran has restarted its nuclear program and is now sending troops to destabalize our embassy in Iraq. I guess thats..uh...winning.
As for North Korea - Obama merely mentioned the idea of talking to Kim Jun Fatass without preconditions and the Sean Hannity crowd shit their pants. Trump actually did that....and gave concessions to North Korea while getting nothing in return. Well thats not totally true. He did get a lovely letter from the dictator.

The sad fact is that Trump doesn't have the intellect to conduct a rational foreign policy. His entire presidency has been about "undo Obama," without any other considerations coming into play. Obama managed to turn Iran from an implacable enemy into a treaty signatory. Now Trump utterly fucks that up and his lackeys and his base go "YAAAAAAY!"
As far as Trump and Nut Korea are concerned, the two leaders are very much alike and they probably understand each other on some basic level, which is why Trump caved to Kim without even getting so much as...yeah, a lovely letter. That's a bigly foreign policy accomplishment!

Liberals want and DEMAND instantaneous results to ALL of their "concerns", valid or not. Negotiations, more often than not, DO take years. During the time frame that these negotiations are taking place, liberals rant and rave, expousing doom and berating whomever is doing the negotiations. They "think", if that is really possible, that giving BILLIONS of dollars to placate an evil nation is negotiating - when in reality it is ass-kissing and traitorous.

Trump has betrayed allies, broken treaties, and damaged our standing with the world. He's also committed treason. He displays no diplomatic skills other than being a bully.
I realize that a lot of Trumpers admire him for being a "tough guy" (or, at least, pretend to). But his bullying behavior is actually a sign of weakness, and every other country knows it. You in fact do NOT get a good deal--in business or diplomacy--by being aggressive and refusing to compromise. But Trump only knows that one strategy.
I am HIGHLY amused by Trump crowing about his success in creating new treaties and trade deals that were only necessary because he destroyed the old ones (as Trumper cheer). He doesn't have the slightest goaddamn idea as to whether the agreements he destroyed were better or worse than the new ones. He just wanted to kill them off because they were enacted by Obama.
The long-term damage is that both our allies and our adversaries will regard us as a nation that cannot be trusted. If we sign an agreement and then pull out of it as soon as Trump gets a bug up his ass, what good is our word? AND...why would any signatory to an agreement with Trump trust him to not renege on it?
And in the Middle East--hoo boy, you betray an agreement, you won't get a chance for a second agreement. They've got grudges there that have lasted for over a thousand years. Trump's damage to American relations with the Middle East may be permanent and irreversible.
