Trump's Plan To Deal With Hurricanes: Nuke Them!

Behind the scenes: During one hurricane briefing at the White House, Trump said, "I got it. I got it. Why don't we nuke them?" according to one source who was there. "They start forming off the coast of Africa, as they're moving across the Atlantic, we drop a bomb inside the eye of the hurricane and it disrupts it. Why can't we do that?" the source added, paraphrasing the president's remarks.

Trump also raised the idea in another conversation with a senior administration official. A 2017 NSC memo describes that second conversation, in which Trump asked whether the administration should bomb hurricanes to stop them from hitting the homeland.

I'd be embarrassed If I voted for this idiot.

I skimmed over the link.  I missed who within the administration claimed this.  Did I miss something?

The gullibility of the left becomes less surprising every day.

Hey Bob, news flash, no one on the left (or the center, or the non-extreme right) took him seriously. Fox "News" actually ran a segment on why it might be a good idea. The right is so gullible!

The memo is unsubstantiated, once again mark reports the fake news

Tom understands my point.  Anyone can make something up and report it as news.  The Dems and the Liberal media did it for two years with Russion collusion, so why would anyone believe the same folks now?

Trumpers are parrots: "the liberal media, "the Dems," "fake news," "no collusion." Same old squawking points.

The FBI, the Justice Department, and fifteen other government agencies found evidence of collusion. Mueller found ten instances of it. Trump is a traitor, and so is everybody who ignores the fact that he encouraged and facilitated an attack on our country. That isn't a matter of partisan politics. It's a matter of simple facts.

However, I understand that Trumpers have to bleat "no collusion" and "fake news" to cover up their shame at supporting a man who committed high treason.

Is Tom claiming a memo produced by Trump's own National Security Council is unsubstantiated?

Where is this memo? Nothing I've been able to find shows that it actually exists.
