Trump's really losing it (if he ever had it)

Reluctantly given a chance to babble at the close of his recent civil trial, the Orange Turd did just that. He rambled and dithered in what one correspondent described as a "stream of consciousness" tirade. The exasperated judge finally told the Turd's lawyer to "Control your client."

I can't wait until the Turd's next appearance in the national spotlight! This should be good!

(Meanwhile, Biden will stutter a couple of times, which Tom thinks is more significant.)

He is angry because he has bed sores from wallowing in his dirty diapers.

Usually defendants who engage in behavior like that are physically gagged and restrained.    Nice to be privliged.

If any defendant in a criminal case said the things Trump has they would be sent straight to jail without the possibility of bail until after their trial took place.

I was wondering why he didn't get dragged away for contempt of court. Surely that can happen in a civil case as well as a criminal case?? Perhaps the judge considered himself complicit in that he gave Trump permission to babble, or there's a precedent of giving extreme leeway in closing arguments, but...Jesus. I don't think you or I could get up there and insult the judge and the court and get away with it.

It usually wont happen in a civil case but it happens day in and day out in criminal cases. Threaten the witnesses, the prosecutor or the judge and it is straight to jail.

The judge should have just shot him.
