It's all Trumps fault doesnt work anymore. Biden's FDA shut down the plant producing 43% of US forumula supply with no plan to replace it. That's kind of stupid, no? The FDA knew there were problems last October. Only now....7 months after problems were originally reported and 3 months after the plant was shut down does he invoke the Defense Production Act. What was he waiting for? Mass baby starvatiion?

The government is now moving into oversee the production of the formula which will allow it to go back online.

I can only imagine what life would be like if we didn't have the FDA. People would be killed by the thousands every year. But corporate profits would be maximized, and that's all that matters to conservitards!

The problem is the unregulated free market capitalism that allowed baby formula producers to monopolize the market and then consolidate their operations into a few mega plants meaning if one fails nationwide demand cannot be met. We have a similar problem in the meatpacking industry.
But I appluad you wishing that socialism had been implemented sooner. Why 🤔 is it socialism always has to bail out capitalism?
