Tucker Carlson is a Fox News opinion-monger who up until now, has been a fawning, drooling Trump lackey. However, last night (Friday), he was sharply critical of Trump's latest war move. He pointed out that for two decades, we've gotten involved in the Middle East--over and over and over--and each time, it's been far more expensive, lasted far longer, and cost many more lives than was expected.
Sean Hannity came on next and, as I predicted, whipped out his dick and started jerking off live to the latest Trump tweets, especially the one that claimed he had made the world safer by bombing the capital city of an ally in order to commit an assassination. He pretty much stated the exact opposite of each point Carlson had made.
This is unprecendented. Until now, the Trump propaganda network has marched in lockstep. Only very occasionally have we heard even a murmured mild criticism of Trump from any of those scumwad liars. I wonder what made Carlson diverge from the party orthodoxy?
Actually, as I was typing this, I remembered that there is a possible reason. Carlson has been making noises about a Presidential run. His thinking was that if Trump gets shot down before November, there would be a void (aka Pence) that he could step into. Thus, differentiating himself from Trump might be part of his long game.
Or it could be (I hope) simply that there's a limit to what Trump can do without starting to alienate his supporters after all. I don't mean our resident Trumptards, of course--they appear to be beyond redemption.
