The Turd increases healthcare costs

corporate profits as well.

I already showed you that the average profit margin is less than 2%

Don't forget the 21% VAT tax and these misnamed free health insurance doesn't cover all expenses; 20-30% on private insurance anyway and then there is the 500+ day wait to receive cancer treatment

It sure beats having no insurance at all, which was the case for one third of Americans before Obamacare.

But what's your stupid point? Do you REALLY think that corporate for-profit health care is less expensive than government-provided single-payer??

Here's the reality, stupid Tom. HALF of the cost Americans pay for health care is corporate profits. The rest is what it actually costs to provide it. If we had killed every Republican years ago, our health care would now cost us half as much.

But you favor paying billionaires and starving ordinary people, so you'll keep weaseling and justifying for-profit health care. Quote us some more Tom-stats, please. They're funny.

The bottom line is if we want a functional healthcare system we have to take the excess profit takers out of the system.

We should start with the private for profit insurance companies that add nothing to the system and continually drive up

costs. Then we should move onto pharmacy benefits companies as they are simply needless middle men that add nothing to the system other than taking dollars that should go to treatment.

Until politicians are willing to cut off welfare to big corporations we will continue to pay more than the rest of the world for healthcare and we will continue to have worse medical outcomes than most of the first world.

It is really shameful that our politicians concede that they simply can't provide a system that will cost less and provide better outcomes for Americans like the rest of the first world because they are too cowardly to cut off the insurance companies from taxpayer

funds.

I can't wait to see the awful system Trump comes up with after allowing everyone's insurance to drastically go up.

I, for once, agree with Mark for these comments  - "The bottom line is if we want a functional healthcare system we have to take the excess profit takers out of the system. The last line of his comment is typical of Mark -"I can't wait to see the awful system Trump comes up with after allowing everyone's insurance to drastically go up.". -- an uncalled for, unfounded negative statement given without any proof that whatever "system" that may be developed will cause higher rates for insurance. -- What Mark and millions of others refuse to accept is that President Trump did not cause the problem with the cost of Health Care. As with the multitude of negative actions that politicans have imposed upon Americans for decades, President Trump trying to find a solution to a corrupt system that has been in place and kept in place by politicans who have lined their pockets with money furnished by the medical industry.

2024 net income for insurance companies wax $9B or $27 per person

Insurance company profits is not the issue.

Another liberal buzz saying with no basis in fact.  Much like the "pay their fair share" which nobody can define what fair share is

My God, what a STOOOPID Tom-stat.

Stupid Tom should examine how much money the insurance companies GROSS, not their NET income. We pay ALL of their gross revenue. Whatever net profit they manage from that is irrelevant. If they weren't in the game, we wouldn't have to provide them with that income.

Also, as they are publicly held corporations, they pay dividends and bonuses to their stockholders. All paid for by us.

Now, Trump is trying to dream up a healthcare system that will make him billions of $$$. For-profit health care doesn't work.

Stupid Tom

The Turd doesn't give a shit about ordinary Americans. And for twelve years, he's been mumbling about having a magical beautiful plan, but hasn't gotten past the pulled-out-if-his-ass phase.

The only solution is to eliminate the for-profit element. And the only way to do that is to kill all Republicans.

Once again cpa Kevin needs an accounting lesson

He is unable to know the difference between revenue and net income.

Insurance companies collect premiums & then pay out the claims

What is left over is net income or about 2% of their revenues.

CPA Kevin might not think net income is relevant but it is.

If dividends are paid out it comes out of net income.

It is not just the profits Tom. It is also executive compensation, insurance company employees compensation, paying for corporate headquarters, stock buybacks and so on.

Don't forget most of them are double dipping or even triple dipping via Medicare Advantage.
