Aside from the absurdity of that claim, he did it before he was elected President! The dodge here is that the SCOTUS ruling includes that evidence from the criminal's time in office cannot be used in ANY prosecutions. So the Turd's mouthpieces are saying that his 34 convictions wouldn't have happened without White House staffers finking on him.
