The Turd-pig fails again: DOGE purge ruled unlawful

Here is what the judge said today in court to the DOJ lawyers.

"You will not bring the people in here to be cross-examined. You're afraid to do so because you know cross-examination would reveal the truth...

Why can't you bring your people in to be cross-examined or deposed at their convenience?" he continued. "I said two hours for Mr. Ezell. A deposition at his convenience. And you withdrew his declaration rather than do that? Come on. That's a sham. It upsets me, I want you to know that."

"I've been practicing in this court for over 50 years and I know how we get at the truth. And you're not helping me get at the truth. You're giving me press releases, sham documents. I'm getting mad."

“It is sad, a sad day, when our government would fire some good employee and say it was based on performance when they know good and well that’s a lie...

Unless the Supreme Court creates new law for Trump, the only question I see is how much are the taxpayers going to have to pay for Elon's misadventrue?

They'll all have to get back pay, and if they sue for damages, that'll be a slam dunk.  And of course, a lot of important stuff didn't get done because of those employees' absences, so everyone is gonna have to scramble to catch up. Lots of overtime!

That judge should have found the whole ElonMAGA gang in contempt of court. They're lucky he didn't go quite that far--but I'll bet they knew to shut their yaps after the above response.

Subhumans like Millerscum will claim that this was a biased "liberal" ruling. What actually happened belies that notion--no judge will ever stand for a claim made by either side if there's no attempt to substantiate said claim.

There are certain places in the US where the law is still the law.

From a legal standpoint, it is pretty simple.  The government employees have an employment contract with the government. If the government breaches that contract the employees are entitled to damages to compensate them for their loss. It is just basic contract law.  Because of how they did it, the employees also have possible fraud and defamation claims against the government.  Tom, David Miller, Boiler and Aaron can proudly say when the final bill comes due we built that.

Yeah, when you get pasted with the labels "fraud, waste, and abuse" when all you were doing was performing your job, that's defamation and subject to damages.

Our resident idiots certainly will leap to the defense of that. But then, they all lovingly suck the dick of a man who has made breaking agreements and dishonoring contracts his life's work. They ADMIRE him for being a crook.

I'm sure that a MAGA Trump lackey judge would have ruled in favor of DOGE. But they were smart enough to get the case heard by an actual judge, not a Trump stooge.

MAGA is so predictable, when they lose, and they usually always lose. It's because of a liberal appointed judge or the conservative/Trump appointed judge is a RINO. Such simpletons. At least they have Aileen Cannon, who doesn't seem to care very much about the law, just how to warp it to serve the trumpsters lies.
