The best part is how they take a page right out of the Trump scandal playbook.
"I dont know these financial advisors who are doing these transactions on my behalf. Never talked to them. Never met them. Total conincidence they emptied my positions in hotel stocks right before the virus hit. "
And why not? Its not like their base will hold them accountable.
Republican corruption is like skunks' odor. It's inherent.
Candy is right that probably, most people who have information that no one else has would act on it. However, the fact remains that doing so is illegal as far as stock market transactions are concerned--and the reason why is obvious.
It's certainly true that the chance of any Republicans being punished for that is less than zero. In fact, they're being praised for their savvy.

Not sure what you are talking about. Even Tucker said Burr needs to resign.
Mark isn't sure what I'm talking about? Did Democrats conceal important information from Americans? If yes, they're terrible people and should be thrown out of office. If no, then there was no insider trading.

They're called classified meetings for a reason.
If you believe it should not have been classified then you should take issue with the administration that labeled it as such.
And the evidence against Burr and whats-her-face from Georgia is light years beyond what they had on Martha Stewart.

I hope so, since Martha Stewart was not convicted of insider trading.
An interesting, if commonplace perspective that Republicans can do no wrong.
