You mean the deficit that shrank by 2/3 under Obama only to increase by over 100% since the dynamically scored tax cuts?

So Doc what is it you are saying here? As the Article points out, it is the Trump tax cuts, failing to live up to the numbers that Trump and the Congressional Republicans promised, that is causing the bulk of the problem. Obama didn't pass the Trump tax cuts, so the mess was made by Trump. The questions you should ask is why did the Republicans lie about their tax cuts and how come they are unwilling to fix the problems created by their tax cuts.
First obama raised the deficit to $1.5 trillion & by using tax increases from social security & obamacare taxes, it came down to a level higher than it was one he came in.
At the end of the day, obama nearly doubled the deficit by an additional $10t.
Attempts to cut a measly $15 billion is being stymied by the democrats.
