That's insane. In the modern era, Republicans are the big spenders. They cut taxes and increase spending at the same time. Ronald Reagan increased the national debt by 186% during his tenure which was the most since Woodrow Wilson. Trump spent like a drunken sailor while cutting taxes for the rich.
Right out of the gate, House Republicans want to add 114 billion to the US deficit. If you are so outraged by America's fiscal situation how come you are not outraged by that? The truth is like you most Republicans/Conservatives do not care about deficit spending/national debt unless a Democrat is in office.
