Ukraine runs out of ammo and retreats

Ukraine forced to give up strategic city they seized 9 months ago

They are rationing bullets because Mike Johnson and his caucus of Putin puppets are taking orders from the Bone-spur-coward.

Remember when our resident conservatives were upset at Biden for not doing enough to help Ukraine?  Seems pretty ridiculous given the current environment on Capital Hill.   I guess now its ok to pull the rug out from under them alltogether - right guys?

And why is this America's problem?  The Ukraine is a continent away - let the European nations deal with this, it is in their backyard and should be in their interests to handle the situation. America has enough of our own problems that should be dealt with.

Trump's still mad at Ukraine for not cooperating with his anti-Biden blackmail scheme. Got his fat ass impeached. So Putin is his blowjob buddy. They have a common goal--to crush Ukraine.

So, no surprise that the House Trump lackeys want aid to Ukraine cut off.

Spoken like a true uneducated moron with no history of NATO and its value to America.   You're in the right uneducated party.

Yep, not to mention he wants to force Poland and the Baltic States to become part of Russia.  Once he is done in Ukraine those are up next. That's why Trump said he wasn't going to defend NATO allies if they are attacked by Russia.  He knows Putin wants those.

Well, Jesus Christ, anyone with a rudimentary knowledge of history knows that letting the Nazis eat small countries one at a time and saying "not our problem" almost led to utter disaster. Germany came so close to winning, it ain't funny. Imagine if they, to name just one horrifying scenario, hadn't been so anti-Jew and hadn't chased Albert Einstein out. Now imagine Germany armed with Hiroshima-style bombs...

Like it or not, NATO depends on America. And funny...wasn't hip, hip, gung-ho, chest-thumping AMERIKA a central tenet of the conservative message, not so long ago? Why hasn't any Republican stood up and said, "Never mind what Trump said, we're not going to violate our treaty and abandon our European allies?"

WHY THE FUCK HASN'T ANYONE SAID THAT??

Asshole servile Trump-lackeys.

Here are $40m in bulltets.  Problem solved; oops it was stolen by Ukraine

https://www.npr.org/2024/01/28/1227447442/ukraine-says-corrupt-officials-stole-40-million-meant-to-buy-arms-for-the-war.

There needs to be an ongoing accounting that this money is going where it is intended.

Thats a fraction of 1% ...and there has never been a better return on investment of our dollars to knock down  Russia.   There military has lost a half million soldiers without our soldiers firing a single shot.

But lets be honest - Tom is just rationalizing for the pro-Putin caucus.  Tom and the Republicans had no problem with the many-more-times-millions stolen by Afghan warlords.     And they had a big problem when Biden cut that off.

So we're just left with Republicans cheering for autocratic expansion in eastern Europe.

The numbers are actually in billions & biden has been hesitant to send aid over the last 3 years.

The State Department and U.S. Agency for International Development spent $46 billion for activities ranging from border security to basic government services such as utilities, hospitals, schools and firefighting. Other government agencies, including the Department of Agriculture, spent another $5 billion. The report noted the difficulty U.S. agencies had accounting for the billions spent.

Remember biden delayed sending aid to Ukraine which may have deterred Russia

https://foreignpolicy.com/2021/12/16/us-ukraine-russia-military-support-congress-biden-delay-aid/

The White House has not yet OK’d a package of lethal and nonlethal assistance for the Ukrainian military that includes Javelin anti-tank munitions, counter-artillery radars, sniper rifles, assorted small arms, and communications and electronic warfare equipment, according to a source familiar with the matter. NBC News first reported that the military assistance was being held up on Saturday.

It took biden 2 years to agree to send tanks.

And biden invited Russia to invade & said the West would not interfere.

President Joe Biden’s prediction that Russia will invade Ukraine and his suggestion that the West’s response could be more muted for a “minor” incursion

Thats a whole lot of nothing.  Ukraine wasnt trained on the advanced weaponry which was step 1 to them using it.   Now they are just running out of basic ammunition.  And you seem to be ok with that .

So lets just be  clear - you're ok with the Republican freeze on sending aid to Ukraine as of today, right Tom?
