Unforced errors: Trump is digging his own grave

Many political pundits have been saying that because the US economy is doing well, voters are likely to forgive Trump's countless horrible flaws and vote for him in 2020. It's true that for many, whether or not their rice bowls are full is the only thing that matters.

Of course, what we're experiencing is the Obama economy. Before our Trumpers start yeeping, let me point out that a given administation's economic policies usually take five+ years to take effect. In 2024, we'll be suffering through the Trump economy (God help us all).

So you'd think the Orange Orangutan would have the sense to just sit back, put it on cruise control, spend as much time as possible cheating at golf, and grope Ivanka when he feels lonely. But NOOOOOO. Instead, he's made the following blunders, none of which he had to commit:

1. Starting a trade war with China

2. Imposing tariffs that hurt everybody, but in particular, the very mouth-breathing yahoos who have been so fervently supporting him

3. Pissing off allies, such as Canada, Denmark, England, etc. etc. etc. for no good reason whatsoever

4. Trying to repeat his Russian election interference scam, this time with Ukraine, because he's afraid of Joe Biden

5. Causing chaos within his administration by firing people on a daily basis

The list goes on--most of the idiot moves he's made, particularly recently, have come from random impulses and show no sign of having been thought out at all. There is a correlation between Fox News saying something and Trump immediately tweeting about it and sometimes acting on it. One wonders if Sean Hannity is the actual occupant of the Oval Office.

Trumpers, this is your cue to insult me, say I'm "full of hate," etc. etc. etc. But when you're done with your ad hominem attacks (look up what that means; I know you can!), you'll have to admit that your tin god, for whom you've sacrificed your decency, your honesty, your integrity, and your common sense, is self-destructing and there's nothing whatsoever you can do about it.

I for one hope he lasts until the election. Anyone who might replace him (Pence; Bozo the Clown; a paroled serial killer) would have a better chance of winning. We need him to stay in there and get his ass kicked by Biden, Warren, Sanders, or whoever.

 I will say what I know to be true - ever since Kevin Lewis started posting here, this topic area has regressed into his personal site where he insults, demeans, spews filth and attacks everyone who does not agree with his  postings, whatever the topic. I have had enough of him and his personal attacks. His anger is unending. Trying to reason with Kevin is clearly not possible.  

Hooray! Stalker has "had enough"! Does that mean he's leaving?

I stick by my prediction, true so far, that our Trumpers won't have anything substantive to say and will just attack me instead.

Can't agree with David Miller fast enough!  Obama's economy, how stupid can one comment get?  With the economy rolling, he wants us to believe a five year turnaround.  Clearly, there is no talking sense to Kevin, so why bother.  He won't even pick a candidate that he backs.  I will point out when I think he's seriously being stupid, like today, but otherwise I'm out too.  Troll on comrade.  And remember how much some of us enjoy your hate.

One question for you though Kevin, I know none of us are as smart as you, but I'll inquire anyway.....do you ever get tired of playing Wile E Coyote to President Trump's Roadrunner?  Beep, beep!

They're worse than useless.

Our Trumpers feel they need to defend themselves. That's because they know they're lying, and--have I pointed this out?--they're supporting a traitor. That doesn't seem to bother them, ostensibly, but I do sense the shame they feel at betraying their country. It shows.

LOL, the only shame I feel is being on the same board with Kevin.  What are you going to do if/when the Presidient releases the transcript and, once again, there is no there there?  I have this feeling that Kevin, once again, will be standing under the safe that's about to fall on his dreams.....AGAIN.

I don't care about the transcript. I want to see the whistleblower report. We don't know how many calls Trump had with Ukraine in that time frame. I saw one report that said eight. Releasing the transcript of one of them isn't at all helpful. 

The only two things that I certainty is that those who are claiming that a Trump has committed a crime are the same folks who lied to us for two years about Russian collusian.
