The US is producing more oil than any country in history

Oh my.  I've explained many times how oil companies can temporarily increase production within existing wells.  It's a shame that you learned nothing.  I'll give you a hint......the process requires lots of sand.

1.  I have no doubt that someday, we will be all electric cars.  I also know that it will never happen within the timeframe that's being presented by naive government officials.

2.  Sleepy and friends are making it difficult to drill, and every oil well is in the process of dying.  These policies are going to back us into a corner, and we won't be ready for enough electric cars and we won't have enough oil.

No - thats the beauty of having a record of things you post on this board.   The thread I linked to is 12 pages of me telling you existing wells can increase production....and 12 pages of you telling me I'm full of shit.

Just one of your posts from that thread.....

" Today's existing wells are producing flat out, unless they can't transport the oil to market in a profitable way.  If one can't flare,  that well must close.  If rail/truck transportation makes the well unprofitable (because Libs wouldn't allow cheap pipeline transportation, the well shuts down.  If transportation of the natural gas isn't allowed to move to market because there is one and only one method (pipeling), then wells shut down.  You fucks obstruct th mearket and then claim that your obstructions don't matter.  Then why did you block the pipeline?  Why did you block flaring?

I understand why Kevin doens't understand a cost benefit analysis, because the public sector doesn't concern itself with such matters, but it matters when moving oil and gas in a profitable way to market."   -Boilerman

All those things are true, and they've stimulated wells.

So when you spent 12 pages telling me we could not increase production because....flaring...pipeline....Biden blocking new leases......that was all bullshit, right?  I mean its not a question because we have increased production.  Massively.  In a record breaking amount.

How about you give me the date of those posts since you cherry picked.

Boiler's babble is nothing new. Restrictions that have been placed on the poor poor poor oil companies are due to environmental concerns--for instance, prohibitions on flaring waste methane. Then the poor poor poor oil companies complain--boo hoo, hoo--that such restrictions are part of a war against them. Same kerfuffle about fracking and pollution of water tables. And building new pipelines.

It was the same back in the 1970s when the first restrictions and sanctions were put in place. Back then, they complained about hippies getting in their way. Yet, somehow, they continued to operate profitably. REAL profitably.

It's not unreasonable to tell them to operate under restrictions now. Doesn't seem to be hurting them at all.

Nope, he left many important comments out about oil well stimulation.  That is he truth.  Let's see if I'm wrong.

That's besides the point that we will not be ready to move to an oil free US for many decades.  Liberals are setting us up disaster.  The world won't end, but our economy will be crushed.

Kevin, are you talking about the same peace loving hippies who celebrated about love and peace after we left Vietnam and 2-3 million people were slaughtered?

It was not up to us to protect them indefinitely. We spent decades trying to shore up their military and give them the resources to continue to fight off North Vietnam. That they crumbled almost instantly was on them.

The hippies I refer to, though, were those protesting against the environmental damage caused by unrestricted and unregulated domestic oil production. And then as now, the oil companies portrayed them as extreme left-wing radicals and sneered at their concerns.
