Walker or wheel chair rental

Will be in Las Vegas the week of October 27th.  Anybody know if it is possible to rent a walker (or, wheelchair, if necessary) at the airport?I'm hoping not to be needing either by then.  Would prefer not to drag one on the plane.   If not at the airport, what about Boulder Highway Strip?  Will be staying at Arizona Charlies West.  Thanks

Almost every casino that also has a hotel will either rent you a walker/scooter or just supply you with one if you're staying there. If not that, then a wheelchair.

AZ Charlie's does provide wheelchairs. You mention "Boulder Highway Strip" but then refer to "Arizona Charlies West." The AC's on the west side is AC Decatur. The one on the east side is AC Boulder. I would call the property to make sure they have a wheelchair available. If you tell them you're staying at the hotel, they might reserve one for you.

Either property is fairly isolated and not really near other casinos (not wheeling/walking distance). However, either one has more than enough stuff going on to keep you busy for a long weekend.

You can rent assistive devices at the airport, but they have to stay at the airport.

OOPS!  Thanks Kevin.  I am very directionaly impaired.  Definitely staying on the Boulder Strip.  Have stayed there several times.  It's not fancy but the rooms are acceptable.  I like their "suites."  We like going to North Vegas so it is a good choice for us.  I did call AZ Charlies.  They do have wheelchairs but no walkers.  It was unclear if there is a charge and if I could take them off the property.  Also, found a rental place that will deliver and pick up to the hotel.  Looks like I will not have to be worried about that!

You won't be dragging walker or wheelchair onto the plane.  If wheelchair you will automatically be placed in the pre-board line and taken down the jetway by an attendant (or a family member), assisted into a seat (not exit row) and your wheelchair will be checked like luggage (not inside the plane).  Upon landing you remain in your seat until the other passengers deplane, and they will have your w/c waiting in the jetway.  Similar with a walker, I believe.  They will bring a wheelchair to get you through the jetway and into a seat, walker will be checked, given back to you when you deplane.

Hope your situation improves and you won't need either, but better to have it if you need it.

There are companies that will deliver wheelchair, scooter, whatever you need, to your hotel, and they pick it up after, if that works for you.  Many others here can better attest to those services and prices.
