For me, it's been pinging major Russian websites about 20 million times a day. That's just a fleabite to them, but when thousands of us participate we can help take down their websites. The Kremlin's Russian and English sites have already crashed, rt.com was non-functional for a while, and the websites for their major oil companies are offline. And remember, these sites are used for logistics, purchasing, shipping, employee communications, and lots of critical stuff.
It may slow your browser down a bit, and if that's too much of a sacrifice for you to make, well I don't know.
