Was removing Maduro an act of war?: Rand Paul schools Marco Rubio.

Rand Paul asks Marco Rubio: What if it was done to us?

I saw that. Paul doesn't have a law degree but that was one hell of a cross examination.  He did an amazing job exposing how the Trump administration is trying to have it both ways by claiming we aren't at war with Venezuela and this is just a law enforcement operation and Congress has no authority over law enforcement matters but on the other hand the Trump administration has invoked the alien enemies act to deport Venezuelan citizens because we are at war with Venezuela.

It sure made "Lil Marco" quake in his "masculine" boots.

One of the things that Rubio said that stood out to me was when he said to Paul, "I’ll acknowledge you’ve been very consistent on these points your entire career, no matter who’s in charge"

MAGA has no idea why someone would be consistent with their beliefs, no matter who is in charge.

This is why I have no respect for any MAGA person, as I've said many times, they have no moral center, ethical center, or core belief system. They will support anything that happens as long as it proves them "right".

Some of the stupidest people I've ever run across in my lifetime.

Comparing MAGA people to the left is like comparing Einstein to Schlitzie.

I'm OK with stupid MAGAs. It's the rare smart MAGAs that I'm worried about. Like their predecessors, the Nazis who achieved high office, they don't believe in their Dear Leader's nonsense for a second, but see it as a useful tool to gain the loyalty of all the weak-minded and stupid Volk.

That's why then and now, race hatred and scapegoating have been such useful tools. Most Americans don't give a flying fuck about FEELTHY ILLEGULS. They're picking tomatoes and cleaning motel rooms. Whatever! But the mindless MAGA morons find it titillating to read about brown people being beaten up and dragged away. They get to tell themselves that everything wrong with their sad little lives is due, not to their own fuckups, but to the presence of all them ILLEGULS. You see an example of this in Miller's continual sad, little whiny posts.

There will always be cults, idiots who join them, and evil, cynical assholes who exploit them. Their name, purported philosophy, or political bent doesn't matter. It's all the same--and it's all fascist.
