If you truly give a shit about violent crime then the cities with the highest rates of it would be first on your list.

"ShotSpotter" isn't any kind of reliable source of info or authority. They don't have access to all info about shootings; they just pretend they do. And stupid Tom swallows it whole.

"ShotSpotter" isn't any kind of reliable source of info or authority.

It is used by close to 200 cities except for the city with the most shootings.  ShotSpotter doesn't say it is 100% and says it is another tool to fight crime.  It picks up shootings that are not reported to the police.
